I´m not quite sure about it, but I´Ve seen a military comedy recently about a guy been given a sub-command of an old Diesel sub named USS Cornblatt. Given with the wreck he had a completely weird crew and, well the whole plot was weird and very funny. My kids loved it and reran the video several times.
Could it be USS Cornblatt is just an insider expression like Catch 22 or something alike?
